Advances of the Web

The Internet, or Web, has evolved a long way from its origins. When the first websites were create it could only be edited by the webmaster. This stage of the internets is considered Web 1.0. Now we can post our own photos and videos on sites like YouTube, Facebook, Myspace, and even here on blogger. This phase of the internet is considered Web 2.0. Even with all of these advancements in the internet there is still room for growth. There are some web sites that take things that who bought or music you listen to and refer you to other items of music that people who bought the same item you did like or bought also. This new advancement of the internet is considered Web 3.0. In my opinion, I just see this as an advancement in Web 2.0. The things that Web 3.0 does are all related to the things that Web 2.0 does. So, I wouldn't jump on the Web 3.0 ship yet, figuratively speaking.
